Description of Event

Date the Louisiana Rose Festival Pageant will be held: AUGUST 19, 2023.

Open State-wide to all young ladies 0-23 years!
Early Bird Entry Fee: $50 by August 5, 2023 (Baby-Teen)
Entry Fee: $60 by August 12, 2023
Door Entry Fee: $75 (0-Junior Divisions ONLY!!!)
CASH ONLY FOR ALL DOOR ENTRIES!!

Miss Entry Fee: $75
Deadline for MISS ENTRY IS AUGUST 5, 2023.

THERE WILL BE A MANDATORY MEETING FOR ALL MISS CONTESTANTS AUGUST 6TH (Location-TBD)

Baby Pageant Contestants

Little Miss Registration: 9:00 - 9:30 AM
Competition: 10:00 AM

ATTIRE: SUNDAY BEST

Baby Miss: 0 - 11 months
Tiny Miss: 12 - 23 months
Toddler Miss: 2 - 3 years
Petite Miss: 4 - 5 years
Little Miss: 6 - 7 years

Young Miss Contestants

Young Miss (8 - 9 years), Deb Miss (10 - 12 years) & Junior Miss (13 - 14 years)
Registration: 3:00 - 3:30 PM
Competition: 4:00 PM

ATTIRE: Long Formal

Teen Pageant Contestants

Teen Miss (15 - 16 years) & Miss Louisiana Rose Festival Queen (17 - 23 years)
Registration: 12:00 - 12:30 PM
Interview Competition: 1:00 PM
Onstage Competition: 4:30 PM

INTERVIEW ATTIRE: Nice Jeans with Pink, White or Green top. Shoes of choice to show your personality.
ONSTAGE ATTIRE: Long Formal

* Deb and Junior Miss will be partially contracted. Queens may not hold more than 2 other titles during their reign as Louisiana Rose Festival (LRF) Queens and must attend 6 events prior to the 2024 festival.

* Teen Miss and Miss are fully contracted titles.

* Queens may not hold nor represent any other title after being chosen LRF Queen. Please contact one of the directors for full contract.

Pageant Awards

Queens will receive a custom rhinestone crown and embroidered banner.

Division Awards

Side Awards: Contestants receive a certificate for the side awards they are chosen for.
Side awards include: Prettiest Hair, Prettiest Eyes, Prettiest Smile and Best Fashion.

Photogenic: Winner receives a frame.

1st, 2nd and 3rd Alternates: Contestants receive a medal.

Every contestant will receive a participation gift.

Donation Awards

* All proceeds from the pageant will be donated to the Rosepine Historical Society, a non-profit organization. The money raised will go towards finishing and upkeep of the Rosepine Evans Historical Park.

* Awards will be given to contestants that raise donations for the Rosepine Historical Society. (Entry fee is not included in donation amount.)

Donation Award: Any contestant raising $100 or more in donations will receive a certificate and gift.
Rose Princess: Any contestant raising $250 or more in donations will receive a certificate and rhinestone tiara.
2024 Rose Queen Ambassador: The contestant raising the most donations will receive a certificate, gift, rhinestone crown and monogrammed banner.

Queen Requirements

All Queens ARE REQUIRED to stay until the end of their pageant session for group pictures and a short meeting with the directors to sign any necessary contracts.

ALL 2024 LOUISIANA ROSE FESTIVAL QUEENS ARE REQUIRED TO BE AVAILABLE MAY 17 - 18TH, 2024 TO ATTEND THE LOUISIANA ROSE FESTIVAL AND PARADE.
