The Rosepine Historical Society is currently in the process of transferring the park area to the Town of Rosepine for continued community use and care. The Rosepine Historical Society will continue to organize and host community events, including Easter, Halloween, the Tree Lighting, and more.

Rosepine Past and Present

Rosepine was a boom town due to the lumber industry and boasted many stores, saloons, hotels, restaurants, churches, a school, a bank and of course the lumber company. The name of our town "Rosepine" is believed to have been given by a country doctor in the area who recognized the beauty of the pine trees interlaced with wild roses. Incorporated December 24, 1902 to present.

Be Part of the Vision for Rosepine's Park

The Rosepine Historical Society was formed to create a park where our community could come together - to walk, relax, connect, and enjoy the outdoors. The park is here, but it’s an ongoing project, and we’re always working to make it better, one step at a time. Whether it’s helping with improvements, dreaming up future additions, or simply supporting the effort, there’s room for everyone to get involved.

Interested in Joining Us?

We’d love to welcome you! Whether you're excited about the park project, looking to meet your neighbors, or just want to lend a hand, becoming a member of the RHS is a great place to start. Our monthly meetings are open to all.

We’re always happy to see new faces! If membership isn’t your thing but you’d still like to help, we welcome volunteers, donations of time or materials, or even just a friendly hello. Email us and drop us a line - we’d love to hear from you!
